SkyM8 is an app that lets people socialize and meet others on the same flights or airport stopovers. Have a few hours to kill in the lounge? Dreading that 13 hour across-the-world long haul flight? Make a connection with someone in your situation who shares the same interests.

The Tech
SkyM8 is built as a native app for the iOS and Android platforms. It connects with a number of third party services, including airline schedule services, and Google/Facebook APIs. The services layer is deployed on AWS and uses Lambda functions along with AWS API Management services.
