The Purpose
Optimal Strategix is a market research company with a unique methodology for analyzing and presenting data to their customers. We built a visualization engine for them that can take their data and create custom charts and graphs that present their analyses in a meaningful manner to clients. The reporting system is optimized for web use as well as for automatically porting the charts into MS Powerpoint.
The Tech
The reporting engine was developed using the MEAN stack, with a MongoDB backend and an AngularJS UI. A number of the charts were hand-crafted, since standard charting libraries could not support them. The solution integrates with their primary marketing data sources through RESTful APIs and the entire solution is hosted on AWS.
