The Purpose
The client is an innovator and leader in the online grocery delivery business. Our development worked with them to rebuild their iOS and Android apps using Xamarin to improve performance. Our team also built a new, companion app which is targeted at the pre-cooked packaged meal market. Both apps are tightly integrated with the company’s backend ordering and fulfillment systems.
The Tech
Both the apps are built using Xamarin, with ports for iOS and Android platforms. The user experience is subtly different for phone and tablet devices to give users the best possible shopping experience. The apps include all the rich features of the website, including delivery scheduling, order management, payment processing, subscription management, and coupon/discount management.
